Lauren (She/Her/Hers)

Being human is beautiful, meaningful, messy, and sometimes incredibly hard. Lauren believes that no one should have to navigate life's challenges alone. She strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued, a space where they can safely explore their experiences, make sense of their stories, and discover the strengths they already carry within them.

Lauren graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her experiences as a kindergarten teacher and later, as memory care caregiver, deepened her appreciation for the resilience of individuals and families, as well as the healing that can occur when people feel supported, understood, and connected.

Lauren approaches therapy from a systemic perspective, recognizing that our experiences, relationships, and environments all play a role in shaping who we are. She believes that healing and growth happen within the context of safe, authentic relationships, and that meaningful change begins when people feel understood rather than judged. Lauren views therapy as a collaborative process and feels honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, build on their existing strengths, and move toward lives that feel more fulfilling and connected. She strives to bring warmth, empathy, authenticity, and curiosity into every session.

Outside of the therapy room, Lauren enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with loved ones, and finding joy in life's simple moments.
