James graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University with his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. His philosophy is that life is a journey that is unique to each person, and that the expert on that journey is the client. James’s goal is to provide an open and accepting environment where all people will feel heard, and accepted throughout the therapeutic experience. James whole-heartedly affirms members of the LGBTQ+ community that seeking therapy and is committed to acceptance, and mutual respect. His clinical interested in working with a variety of clients which would include blended families, and foster families, and all family types. He is also interested in families experiencing a transition period such as divorce or significant loss or trauma. James enjoy’s spending his time with his husband Jesse, his cats, playing table top games as well as video games, and crotchet.
