
Dr. Caroline Gimarc, Ph.D., tLMFT
Assistant Professor
Dr. Gimarc Completed her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at Kansas State University. Before that, Dr. Gimarc earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University. Dr. Gimarc has worked in a variety of clinical settings including collegiate mental health, juvenile justice center, and private practice. She has a passion with working with individuals going through life changes and couples.
Dr. Gimarc is also an AAMFT approved supervisor. She has a passion for aiding in forming MFT students into providers who are confident in their skills. Most recently, Dr. Gimarc served as the Director of Counseling Services where she oversaw a team of interns charged with providing care to the students of Mount Mercy University.
Dr. Gimarc's research interests are focused in survey design and advanced statistical modeling. Dr. Gimarc also enjoys researching how couple support and attachment play a role in relationships. Dr. Gimarc has been published in peer-review journals and enjoys presenting at conferences when she is able.
