David graduated from the University of Iowa and earned a master’s degree from North Park University. He has spent the last twenty years in nonprofit work, providing support for diverse families and people of all ages.

David believes that everyone has the capacity to thrive amid life’s opportunities and challenges. As a student therapist, David is eager to help clients discover their own unique gifts to face whatever difficulties they are experiencing. He believes strongly in a collaborative process between clients and therapists where curiosity and kindness lead the way.

Outside the clinic, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys as well as walking, hiking, and watching sports with family and friends. He also loves food and cooking, and how food can bring people together.

David looks forward to helping clients face whatever challenges come their way.
