Daniela Díaz Castillo (She/Her/Hers)
"I want to meet you as you are, not as you ought to be." — Virginia Satir
Daniela earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Universidad Camilo José Cela, located in Madrid, Spain where she lived and studied for five years. During that time, she also interned with the CEPAIM Foundation and had the privilege of supporting and accompanying migrants, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, and members of the LGBTQIA2s+.
While pursuing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mount Mercy University, she has learned that healing happens through connection and that everyone deserves a space where they can show up exactly as they are—without judgment, pressure, or expectations.
Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in the belief that our relationships, cultures, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Daniela is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while uncovering their resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth.
She has particular interest in working with clients exploring identity, cultural experiences, family relationships, attachment, life transitions, anxiety, sexuality, intimacy, and intergenerational patterns. As a first-generation, Mexican-American woman, Daniela values cultural humility and strives to create a welcoming, affirming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, Daniela considers it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and meaningful change.
