Allison

Allison graduated from Coe College in 2025 earning a Bachelor of Art in Psychology degree and now attends Mount Mount Mercy in pursuit of her Masters of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy.

As a student therapist, Allison is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, connect authentically with themselves and others, and work toward meaningful growth. Allison believes that therapy can provide an opportunity for greater self-understanding, healing, and self-compassion, and she strives to foster an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and valued throughout the counseling process.

Allison’s approach to therapy is grounded in collaboration and a strengths-based perspective. She believes that every individual possesses unique strengths, resilience, and personal resources that can support growth and change. While challenges and difficulties may sometimes make these strengths difficult to recognize, she enjoys helping clients identify and build upon those qualities. Together, we can explore ways to use these strengths to overcome obstacles, develop new coping skills, and move toward personal goals.

Allison values curiosity and openness. She approaches each client with the understanding that they are the expert of their own life. Allison views therapy as a partnership in which we work together to better understand challenges and create meaningful change. My role is to offer support and perspective, while honoring each client's unique story and lived experience.

Whether clients are navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, I am dedicated to providing a compassionate and empowering space where they can feel supported in becoming the version of themselves they want to be. Through collaboration, authenticity, and a strengths focus, I hope to help clients cultivate self-compassion, build confidence, and create lasting positive change.
