Tina holds a BS in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Iowa. A wife for over 30 years, a mother of three adult daughters, and the primary caretaker of an elderly mother, Tina has experienced most of life’s family cycles and uses her own experiences to help her understand her clients. Tina’s nonjudgmental approach and genuine empathy for others help her to be a welcoming therapist to all clients and all kinds of families. She has years of experience working with children of all ages and believes that all people have the capacity for positive change. Her goal is that all clients feel supported and heard in therapy and come to understand how they can positively change their lives for the better. Tina is creative in her approach to life and is a nurturer at heart. Clients will find her warm, welcoming, and encouraging. An avid gardener and movie fan, Tina enjoys time with her husband and family and her dogs.
