Soulamone completed her Bachelors of Art in Human Development & Family Studies at Mitchell College, Connecticut. The individualized degree paved an avenue for Soulamone serving the mentally ill and disability population throughout Southeastern Connecticut. Prior to moving to the Midwest Soulamone worked as a Mental Health Community Support Professional providing behavioral health services and homecare services to programs including mental health care, elder services, acquired brain injury program and developmental services.
Soulamone moved to Iowa reuniting with her mother channeled a career with Heart and Solutions as a Behavioral Health Intervention Services(BHIS) Case Manager. The rekindled relationship with her mother, coupled with her professional experiences led Soulamone to pursue her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mount Mercy University. As a student therapist, Soulamone enjoys working with clients of all ages. She is passionate about empowering people to thrive and infuse new meaning into their lives and experience fulfillment.
