Rob

Rob

Prior to entering the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Mt Mercy, Rob was a college chaplain, before that a congregational leader, and, once upon a time, a neuroscientist. He has many years of experience working with individuals, children, and families of all ages and compositions, of all in addressing life issues, processing transitions of all kinds, including grief and loss, and supporting those who have experienced relational trauma. Rob’s journey reflects a life-long curiosity and search for meaning, concretized into a personal goal of nurturing the infinite potential in every human being. Life’s lesson, as he sees it, is the essential value of walking alongside others, to meet every person where they are, without prejudice and with unconditional positive regard. Rob is devoted to creating a therapeutic space that respects the dignity of every person, in which they can participate in the unlocking and healing of their wounds and learn to grow again in themselves and in relationship with others.
