In life, I have experienced developmental, psychological, relational, and adjustment challenges over the years and I have learned the value and importance of having someone working with you in times of difficulties. With this in mind, I got my BS in Psychology from Mount Mercy University, and have continued this goal through my enrollment in the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Program. I have a passion for working with children, families, and those who have developmental or other disabilities. I strongly believe that we all have strengths with in us, we just need to recognize them, and use them. Furthermore, I endeavor to provide a positive therapeutic environment built on mutual respect, warmth, and growth. I fully believe that "change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end"- Robin Sharma. With this in mind, my goal is to embark on a journey with my clients to empower them to navigate the challenges they face.
