Rafah’s passion for creating change and helping others is fueled by her role as an active volunteer in human rights organizations and in serving the underprivileged around the world. During her roles, Rafah has navigated issues through meaning-making framework, which gave her a reason to keep pushing for meaningful change. Throughout her travels and life experiences, Rafah became acquainted with multiple cultures and religions, which provided insight into the difficulties faced by families and individuals throughout different stages of their life. Rafah holds multiple perspectives, which allows her to look at issues with a critical lens, while embracing a positive view on human nature. Rafah believes therapy can change your life for the better, and she will work with you in an empathetic, collaborative, and judgment free space to help you navigate and reach your goals.
As a student therapist, Rafah believes that every individual has the power within to help themselves lead a better and healthier lifestyle. Being part of a diverse group and her rich experiences made Rafah resilient, fighting to carve places of belonging. Her roots extend beneath continents, she can’t be defined by a border she simply exists in the space between. Rafah hopes to help you break down your borders and approach issues from different perspectives in order to find the solution that is most effective.
