Nikki Nefzger

Nicolette

Nikki graduated from The University of Iowa with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Art History. She also has training and certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). In the past, Nikki has worked with young children, adolescents, and their families as a Treatment Counselor. Nikki believes that everyone has a personal world view and experiences their unique perspective differently from anyone else. As a student therapist, she believes that clients who enter therapy with an open mind will have a greater possibility for gaining new perspectives about their situations and possible goals for the future. Nikki works to ensure that all of her clients feel respected, valued and fully understood during therapy. Her therapeutic approach includes being non-judgmental, empathetic and genuinely interested in helping her clients.

If you are interested in Nikki becoming your therapist, please contact the clinic at 319-368-6493.
