Nico Graduated from Mount Mercy University where she earned a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology. She developed an interest in mental health care at a young age and has been preparing for a career in therapy throughout her life.
As a student therapist, Nico strives to create a safe and comforting environment, so clients feel accepted and able to share anything with her. She knows that everyone is capable of growth and healing and is passionate about helping her clients navigate life and meet their goals. Nico is committed to building strong connections with her clients and believes this is done best by meeting them with unconditional positive regard. Her overall goal for therapy is to work collaboratively with clients to find a path to healing that works best for them.
In her free time, Nico enjoys kayaking, creating art of any kind, listening to mystery podcasts, and spending time with her partner.
