Mindy graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in both “Ministry to victims of Human Trafficking”, and “Deaf Studies.” Mindy has served in a variety of positions and has gained 10+ years’ experience working with children, young adults, and families. Currently Mindy serves as a Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) worker and works with children age five through adulthood, and their families.
Mindy enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and has a passion for helping children and young adults who have experienced sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, and body image issues.
It is Mindy’s desire to provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and families to feel safe to speak their truth and work through difficult issues and experiences to meet their identified goals. Mindy sets out to help all clients set personal goals and support clients to feel empowered to achieve them. In her free time, Mindy enjoys all things “creative and artsy”, hiking, gardening, working out, as well as spending time with her husband and her fur baby “Bo.”
