Marissa
She/Her/Hers
“People who wade into discomfort and vulnerability and tell the truth about their stories are the real badasses.” – Brené Brown
Marissa believes that the way we experience life, the stories we create from those experiences, and the simplified meanings we can take away from them - are all connected to how we will continue to perceive and experience our everyday lives. Marissa strives to offer a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, safe, and nonjudgmental. Her therapeutic approach incorporates a brave space for processing the most intimate thoughts and feelings, while greeting them with compassion, empathy and hope. One of Marissa’s goals in therapy is to offer insight and/or a new perspective in order to help others to reflect and redirect themselves towards healing and growth.
In her free time, Marissa likes to spend time outdoors, whether that is hiking, walking her 3 dogs, or tending her chickens.
