Lexi (she/her/hers)
“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.” - Winnie the Pooh
Lexi graduated from Iowa State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Adult and Family Programming. During her last semester she spent her time at her internship at 515 Therapy and Consulting, a therapy practice in Des Moines, Iowa. She learned the ins and outs of a therapy practice and observed a wide variety of therapists. Ultimately, Lexi decided to pursue a Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy at Mount Mercy University, where she will graduate from in 2024.
Lexi leads with playfulness, but she also values deep connection, safety, compassion, and authenticity. She celebrates her clients when they are happy, and she holds space for her clients when they are struggling. There is room for both. Lexi believes that anyone has the ability to grow into the person they want to be.
Outside of the Olson Clinic, Lexi enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, cuddling or playing with her goldendoodle, reading, diamond painting, and watching her favorite drama series. She also likes to go on walks (except during the winter months) and playing euchre.
