Lacy graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Services. She also has experience working with survivors of sexual assault through her training as a Sexual Assault Advocate. Lacy is interested in working with a wide variety of clients and is especially passionate about working with couples and families who are struggling with conflict. Her goal is to create an accepting and non-judgmental environment in which clients feel safe to open up about their greatest struggles and fears, providing them the support they need to heal and change in positive ways. Lacy believes that each person’s experience is unique to them, and that experience is to be respected and validated. Being a part of that experience and assisting clients to make the changes they wish to see in their lives is her reason for becoming a student therapist. In her free time, Lacy enjoys being outside, spending time with family, and music.
