Jamie received a BA in Spanish from the University of Iowa in 2003 and worked in the disability social work field for over 15 years. Jamie has lived in Iowa her entire life except the year she spent abroad in Mexico.
Jamie trusts we all have moments of genuine compassion for others, and we must all learn to make room for those same moments for ourselves. Jamie believes in transformative processes, recognizing and learning from mistakes and reinterpreting who we are and what we believe, based on life experiences that teach us to be open to new possibilities.
Jamie is committed to working collaboratively with diverse families, couples and individuals on increasing self-agency and generating new meanings by accessing all perspectives. She will work alongside of clients to explore each unique experience and am devoted to the process of holistic healing.
Jamie enjoys spending time outdoors, camping with her wife and 2 kiddos.
