“In life, I think the most valuable experience we can have is connection. Connection to ourselves first and then to others.” Virginia Satir
Falon graduated from Bellevue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management. While she has worked in many different fields, being in community with people has always been her focus and passion. As the country went into lockdown during the COVID-19 crisis, Falon became committed to finding a more authentic path that would allow her to better serve the community. That intention led her to the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Mount Mercy University.
As a student therapist, Falon believes that you are the expert on your own life. She always strive to meet her clients, wherever they are on their journey, with unyielding acceptance and compassion. She feels privileged to have the opportunity to support clients during any present challenges and future endeavors. Falon believes that mental health is a central component to our overall health and wellness that impacts how we are able to show up and be seen in the world.
When she is not in the clinic, you can find Falon chasing around her children, watching sportsball with her partner or joyfully cooking elaborate meals with too many ingredients.
