Elizabeth completed her undergraduate degree at Mount Mercy University in 2023 where she received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent studies. Elizabeth is beginning her second year at Mount Mercy University as she works towards her master’s degree to become a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. While attending school Elizabeth also works at Mercy Medical Center here in Cedar Rapids in the Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry Unit helping individuals, families, and young adults struggling with their
own mental health. Her interest in becoming a therapist has sparked from a young age as she enjoys helping, supporting, and caring for individuals. She also has enjoyed making individuals feel heard and wanted, along with making sure that themselves and their mental health are seen as important and valued.

Elizabeth welcomes all individuals for who they are. Anyone meeting Elizabeth will be met with warmth and compassion. She strives to create a safe and welcoming space for her clients to not only feel welcomed but also feel comfortable and accepted through their journey of therapy. Her passion and ability in building rapport with her clients helps them recognize they are not alone in this journey in reaching their goals. Elizabeth strongly believes that healing the past can influence and create growth for positive change in the future.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her cats, family, and significant other. She also enjoys working out, and binge watching tv shows.
