“Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time” -Ruth Bader Ginsberg

Elizabeth Anne (or EA for short) graduated from the University of Missouri, with both an undergraduate degree in Occupational Science and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Since that time, she has worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, long term care, inpatient rehabilitation, and most recently, at Iowa Healthcare, working on both the medical floors and inpatient behavioral health. EA has come to appreciate the impact that mental health plays on our overall health and well-being, and is passionate about promoting mental health for all individuals.

As a student therapist, EA is eager to apply a systems-based approach in the therapy room, and create an environment that feels safe and supportive. EA recognizes how hard it can be to enter the therapy space, and is devoted to making this transition as comfortable as possible. She is excited to meet new individuals and families, and to have the honor of being a part of their journey moving forward.

When she is not working or at the Olson Clinic, EA enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, and their cat, Louie. She is at her happiest when she is outside on a sunny day, going for a family bike ride/walk, reading a book, or hosting a dinner party for her friends.
