Destiny achieved her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Bemidji State University, MN. She has a background with adults in community – based correctional settings and elderly throughout several years in nursing facilities in her community. Since moving to Iowa, she has provided a variety of services and supports to adolescents and adults within their home and local communities.
Destiny believes we all possess the strength, courage, wisdom, and power to take our own paths in life. It is okay to feel lost as we are all a little lost at times, but you do not have to go through life’s ups and downs alone. She believes therapy can allow everyone to achieve goals, overcome barriers, and provide support to those struggling. As a student therapist, Destiny wants her clients to feel seen and heard. Destiny has a special interest in working with clients from all walks of life who may struggle with setting boundaries, trauma, and sexual issues.
+In her free time, Destiny enjoys being outdoors, watching movies/ documentaries, antique shopping, and home renovations/decorating. As well as spending time with family, friends, and her two fur babies Frankie and George…meow.
