“All lights turned off, can be turned on” - Noah Kahan.

Corinne graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in coaching. Before returning to school, she was a track and field coach at a Junior College in Waterloo, where she focused primarily on mental health with athletes and life transitions. Throughout her time, she has had a growing interest and passion for mental health. She has strong personal beliefs and values surrounding human connection, self-love, self-discovery, and the beautiful journey of life that everyone experiences.

Everyone has their own lived experience that deserves to be heard and seen. You are the main character and have everything within yourself to write your story. Corinne welcomes all individuals and meets them as who they were authentically meant to be. She strives to create a safe and healing environment for everyone. She is honored to walk with you through your journey and build a secure and lasting relationship during the collaborative process. As a student therapist, she strives to listen empathetically to each experience, be authentically present during sessions, and share a space of compassion, growth, and healing. She recognizes that experiences are different for all, and she wants to help explore those dimensions and meet each client's needs at that present moment. Along with being empathetic, she also offers different challenges for clients to promote growth and healing by empowering them.

When Corinne is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Oliver, a 3-year-old cocker spaniel, her family, and her significant other. She is a dedicated athlete and is currently on the Mount Mercy Track and Field team. Go Mustangs!! Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to enjoy an ice-cold Diet Coke, a small pleasure that brings her joy.
