Clarissa is a graduate from the University of Iowa where she received her B.A. in
psychology. She is beginning her second year at mount mercy university for a masters in marriage and family therapy. In her teen years her interest for the mental health field became strong. Since then, she has always seen herself as a therapist in her future.


Clarissa has always had a passion for serving her community. Now as a student
therapist she can combine her passion of mental health care and her community.
She believes that therapy is meant to be a safe and supportive space for everyone no matter what challenges one is experiencing. These being one of the most important things she wants to provide for anyone willing to share their story with her. Clarissa strives to provide respect, kindness, and empathy to all those around her. Clarissa is excited to start this new journey with everyone who comes to the Olson clinic.


Clarissa enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs. Her favorite
way to pass time or relax is yoga, running, and baking sweets
