Caitlyn (she/her/hers)
"The sun will rise, and we will try again." - Tyler Joseph
Caitlyn graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s in psychology, and a minor in Mental Health and Art. She has known since she was young that she wanted a career in mental health to help others the way that she has been helped. The MFT Graduate Program at Mount Mercy is helping her to achieve her goals and desire to help others.
Caitlyn strives to create an accepting and compassionate environment where anyone can be their authentic self. She believes that everyone has strengths and can use these strengths to foster growth throughout their lives. She knows the strength it takes to reach out and is committed to provide empathy and building strong connections with anyone who wants to start the journey into therapy. Her goal is to work collaboratively to help others work towards their goals, process life events, and exploring desires for therapy. Caitlyn believes that everyone deserves access to mental health care and is looking forward to working with individuals in any community.
In her free time Caitlyn enjoys reading, listening to music, creating art, horror films, and spending time with her dog and two cats.
