“Only in silence the word, only in dark the light, only in dying life: Bright the hawk's flight on the empty sky.” ― Ursula K. Le Guin
Andrew graduated from the University of Iowa with a MA is Religious Studies (Eastern Religions) and a MA from Earlham College (Western Religions). He has advanced training as a Yoga Teacher (The Yoga Institute in India), Certified Life Coach (CTI), Preschool Teacher (CDA), and facilitator within Men’s circles (Mankind Project).
Andrew is a therapist who believes in the power of hope to help move a client into a better reality. Each client builds their own definition of hope and moves towards it. Andrew also believes in the power of slowing down and being in the present moment. Finally, Andrew believes in the power of humor: therapy is better when we are smiling at least some of the time.
When not in the clinic, Andrew can be found running a preschool, walking with his wife and dog, swimming, biking, and on Ragbrai selling smoothies and burritos.
