Andrea received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Wartburg College, with an endorsement in Special Education from Buena Vista University. Her past eight years as a high school Instructional Strategist has provided her insight in meeting individuals where they are at and to help them access inner potential for growth and change. Andrea seeks to provide a safe, non-judgemental and inclusive acceptance of all diversities, backgrounds and lived experiences and has particular compassion for individuals dealing with trauma, divorce, blended families and individuals with learning, physical, and/or emotional disabilities. Andrea’s goal in therapy is to create an environment for growth and healing and for each individual to know they are not alone in their struggle.
When Andrea isn’t doing therapy or teaching, you will find her spending time with her supportive husband and each of their six children within the mosaic of their blended family. In too few moments of self-care, you will find her pouring over a decorating blog or just enjoying some fresh air out on the patio with some music, a book, and a fresh cup of coffee.
