“You are the one thing in this world, above all other things, that you must never give up on.” -Lili Reinhart

Alivia graduated from Mount Mercy University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a minor in Child and Adolescent Studies. Through her time at Mount Mercy University she has grown to have a great interest in working with children and families from the knowledge she obtained through her course work. She has been preparing for her future as a therapist since gaining an interest in the mental health field within the last few years. Alivia has a large interest in exploring human connection, self-love, and relationships. Alivia has an interest in play, attachment, the way systems influence each other, playfulness, humor, childhood trauma, and the stages of life cycles.

Alivia’s goal is to create an environment that is accepting and empathetic, so that all clients can be their true authentic selves in a safe space. She believes in using strengths to foster growth in the therapy space and in their lives. The space Alivia creates is a non judgmental environment that gives clients the support to start their journey. Alivia loves to create goals and help others to achieve their own goals. Alivia offers an encouraging and collaborative space to make goals and
use strengths for growth in her clients lives. Alivia looks forward to connecting with clients of all backgrounds and working together to reach their desired therapy goals.

In Alivia's freetime she enjoys spending time hanging out with family and her best friends, watching new tv shows on Netflix, putting together puzzles, and spending as much time with her two cats (Magnolia and Milton).
