“Wholeness does not mean perfection: it means embracing brokenness as an integral part of life” Parker J. Palmer
Erin views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership. She believes the answers and guidance we are looking for lie within us, and her goal as a therapist is to guide individuals, couples, and families inward towards their truth and intuition, while helping them develop empathy towards themselves and others. She believes in the innate wisdom of the body, and believes we can gain great insight from the body in the healing process.
Her experience working in Education for 13 years afforded her the opportunity to work with many children and families from diverse backgrounds. Her volunteer work with families struggling with the effects of alcohol and drug addiction, and training in trauma sensitive yoga has also given her deep insight into the internal effects of addiction and trauma on the self and how it affects the entire family system. Erin provides an open and safe environment to navigate the challenges of life.
